Official Philanthropy - Sigma Alpha Iota Philanthropies, Inc.
SAI Philanthropies, Inc. was created in 1974 as the charitable arm of Sigma Alpha Iota. Its mission is to promote all aspects of music creation, performance and scholarship; and encourage service for and through music on the campus, in the community, in the nation, and throughout the world. It supports the educational and charitable goals of SAI through philanthropic endeavors.
The Humane Society's mission is to give shelter and care to lost, abused, or unwanted dogs and cats, to advocate the humane treatment of all animals, and to reduce overpopulation through a successful spaying and neutering program. Many of our members have taken the volunteering class and love to spend their extra hours with the animals.

National Headquarters for Project Linus is located in Bloomington, Illinois, where directors orchestrate the activities of chapters in all 50 states. They collect blankets locally and distribute them to children in hospitals, shelters, social service agencies, or anywhere that a child might be in need. We contribute by making our own blankets and quilts to donate.
